Meet Our Founder | Alexis Levi
Alexis Levi is the first African American woman to hold the titles of Owner and General Manager of a men’s professional basketball team. Levi settled her International Basketball League (IBL) franchise, the Las Vegas Stars, in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2006- 2009. In the last twelve years Levi has taken on many major hats in the Sports and Entertainment World. One of the Top Entertainment Projects includes ProBaller Magazine and coming soon the revised HOTTSPOTT Magazine: A Magazine developed to showcase Sports, Music, Television, Film and PRO Baller Magazine.com, a magazine dedicated to telling the stories of professional athletes and their triumphs and journeys. A Project she hopes to place on Television someday.
Levi was signed a Sports Radio Show with NGSC Sports to be a talk show she prepares to take this show to NXT Sports Network. Levi states her main goal is to own a Pro Basketball Team for the NBA and a Sports Themed hotel in Las Vegas.
The Alexis Levi Sports and Entertainment Group has athletes on their Roster for Management, Marketing and Branding. Levi works with several Sports Properties in the US and International Market. With offices in Las Vegas, she looks to open offices in Europe and New York in 2020. Her Book, Alexis Levi from the Board Room to the Locker Room published in February 2013 is scripted and is currently being funded for a movie. She is currently producing sports television, docudrama television shows, and Reality TV. Recently contracted to be the lead character on a TV Series called “The Board Room”. With an upcoming speaking tour to 25 cities in 2019/2020 she is surely on her way to a city near you. Her second book is underway” Hidden Secrets of Success”3rd Book: No Limits No Boundaries (Revision) and 4th Book: How to become a Pro Athlete.
Levi was also honored as the showcase of only 12 people for the PEPSI “Firsts of Many” 2008 National African American History Campaign and Calendar for those African Americans who were the “first” at what they’ve done and are paving the way for many others to follow in their footsteps. Levi has been working in the sports world for over 12 years and feel responsible for being a leader and an example of how men and women can work together for the greater good. As Owner of Alexis Levi Sports and Entertainment Group she has her hand in Sports Marketing, Management, Publishing, Real Estate Development and Education and Training. Her new Connect to Las Vegas Project launched recently allows her to bring Global Events, Broadway shows, Conventions, Meetings, Entertainment Events and more to Las Vegas. This December The Global Winter Wonderland will have a month-long residency in Las Vegas.
She is currently the President of NXT Sports Network a subsidiary of NXTTVLIVE.com. Director of the Summer League Jam Basketball Event held in Las Vegas an event for youth 6 years -12 years, high school, college, professional basketball players. Her Non-Profit efforts include being the Director of Sports for Life which has an initiative that educated coaches and athletes to the risks of Heart Attacks. Volunteers for the Boys and Girls Club in Las Vegas and the American Heart Association. She was a former Chairwoman of NABFEME (National Association of Black Female Executives in Music & Entertainment), a national organization that consists of the “who’s who” of African American female media executives, actresses, and musicians. All of this contributed to her being named by Ebony Magazine as one of America’s most influential African Americans, and one of the top 20 African American “Up and Comers in the nation”.
Levi expressed her purpose and destiny in life is touch Sports Industry, Women from around the World, and to be an Inspiration and Advocate for Children in Life and Sports.
Levi is the mother of two sons and resides in Las Vegas. One son is International Basketball Pro Athlete Tyler Larson who is currently playing in Russia 2018/2019 Season. The Eldest son resides in Atlanta owns an Entertainment Media Company.
